Hailing from Montreal, Quebec, Canada, Pierre was the country's Honourary Economic Consul to the Netherlands Antilles (Sint Maarten, Curaçao, Saba, Bonaire, and Sint Eustatius) based on Curaçao from 1991-1996 and later, from 1997 until mid-2007, was SABMiller's local agent for the Foster's beer label throughout the entire Antilles territory until his move to Prague, Czech Republic early in 2008. After a successful diplomatic and business career spent for the most part in the Caribbean, Pierre and his spouse joined up with several Canadian investment bankers to form ED Financial Corporation, which is presently investing in the burgeoning housing and real estate markets in Romania and in neighbouring Republic of Moldova. LaMontagne partnered up early in 2008 with Adam Daniel Mezei to form Mezei and Associates, SRL, the Prague company's Romanian operation. The two are close associates from Mezei's time in Montreal and their Romanian operations will be their first joint venture in more than eleven years of personal and professional collaboration.

Adam Daniel Mezei is a graduate of Montreal's McGill University Bronfman School of Management and resident in the Czech Republic since 2005. Over the past three years, Adam has travelled extensively throughout most of Emerging Eastern Europe (formerly, "The Eastern Bloc") and in 2008 he spent most of his time in Bucharest, Romania as part of a crack team in preparation for Mezei and Associates' 2009 corporate activities in that country. Throughout his professional career in Prague, he has interfaced regularly with members of its expatriate professional community, including ambassadors and VIP visitors to the Central European nation such as Her Excellency The Right Honourable Michaëlle Jean, Governor-General of Canada and His Excellency Prince Turki Al-Faisal of Saudi Arabia. As a business journalist and writer before his transition into the business world, Adam interviewed several of Prague's prominent corporate celebrities as part of his weekly show, "The Knowledge." Much of his current journalistic portfolio is archived online.
